In order to facilitate the nucleic acid test, the Shanghai government has been optimizing the layout of normalized nucleic acid sampling points across the city by combining "fixed sampling points + convenient sampling points + mobile sampling points". Jing'an District has done overall planning and coordination to set up more convenient nucleic acid sampling sites on streets and in towns, focusing on forming a "15-minute nucleic acid test service circle" to provide the public with fast and convenient testing services. 

SBC Biomedlab of Fosun Diagnostics responded to the demand for normalized nucleic acid sampling in the first time and set the first Biomedlab sampling booth in the south of Shanghai North High-tech Park (at the intersection of Jiangchang 3rd Road and Wenshui Road). Subsequently, several nucleic acid sampling booths will be successively set in other areas of Shanghai to help citizens get a nucleic acid test upon arrival.

On April 30, the first nucleic acid sampling booth under the responsibility of SBC Biomedlab of Fosun Diagnostics was put into official use, and will provide nucleic acid sampling services during 9:00-11:30 and 13:30-16:30 from Monday to Friday.

The sampling booth looks like a closed "kiosk". It is equipped with an ultraviolet disinfection device and an air conditioner, and can accommodate two medical staff for sampling. Medical staff and the test object are in different spaces, achieving "no contact" services and avoiding cross-infection. Scanning of the health code is only required for the test object before the nucleic acid test. The medical staff can skillfully complete the "contactless nucleic acid test" through the protective gloves on the hole of outer glass wall. The whole process is fast and safe.

On the day of opening, many citizens came to the convenient sampling point for nucleic acid sampling, and most of them were left-behind employees in the Park. For the setting of the convenient sampling point, they said that they could arrive there by simply walking, and only needed to show their health code before receiving the nucleic acid test. It was convenient, efficient and very safe.

It is understood that the normalized layout of nucleic acid sampling sites is an important part of the current epidemic prevention and control efforts, as well as an infrastructure to provide a quasi-public service for future resumption of work and production. SBC Biomedlab of Fosun Diagnostics will continuously adjust the sampling form according to the epidemic prevention and control process in Shanghai in real time to meet the sampling needs of residents.

In addition to the construction of the nucleic acid sampling point, Fosun Diagnostics has made many efforts to cooperate with the epidemic prevention and control in Shanghai. At an early stage of the current outbreak, faced with the pressure of local nucleic acid testing in Shanghai, Fosun Diagnostics took the lead in building and operating the cabin laboratory. The mobile cabin laboratory of SBC Biomedlab of Fosun Diagnostics has become the first mobile cabin laboratory with complete three certificates in Shanghai. As of May 2, this cabin laboratory has received more than 200,000 sample tubes and tested more than 2 million people, greatly relieving the pressure of nucleic acid testing and improving the timeliness and accuracy of nucleic acid testing.

To cooperate with the national testing strategy for SARS-CoV-2 of "adding antigen test as a supplement to nucleic acid testing", Fosun Diagnostics has accelerated the process approval and marketed the SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid/antigen detection reagent, becoming the seventh enterprise with dual certificates of "nucleic acid + antigen", providing antigen guarantee for epidemic prevention in Shanghai in a timely manner.

In mid-to-late April, Fosun Diagnostics, under the condition of ensuring the health and safety of personnel, actively responded to the call of the Shanghai government of resumption of work and production, ensured that the production line was not stopped, and met the testing demands of citizens.
